Tawaf on a mount is permissible
Hadith 302
91- وبه: عن عروة بن الزبير عن زينب بنت أبى سلمة عن أم سلمة زوج النبى صلى الله عليه وسلم أنها قالت: شكوت إلى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم أني أشتكي فقال: ”طوفي من وراء الناس وأنت راكبة.“ قالت: فطفت ورسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم حينئذ يصلي إلى جنب البيت وهو يقرأ بـ (الطور).
It is narrated from the wife of the Prophet, Sayyida Umm Salama (may Allah be pleased with her), that I complained to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) that I was ill. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Perform the Tawaf behind the people while riding." She says that I performed the Tawaf, and the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) was praying near the House of Allah. He was reciting Surah At-Tur «وَالطُّورِ ﴿١﴾ وَكِتَابٍ مَّسْطُورٍ» "By the Mount, and by a Book inscribed."
