Muwatta Imam Malik (Riwayat Ibn al-Qasim)

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah al-Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever is given 'Umra (a gift for a lifetime) with the statement that it is for him and his heirs, then it belongs to the one who was given 'Umra, and it will not return to the giver, because he has given it in such a way that the rules of inheritance apply to it."
