Hadith 150
201- وبه: عن ابن عمر أن حفصة أم المؤمنين أخبرته أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم كان إذا سكت المؤذن من الأذان لصلاة الصبح، صلى ركعتين خفيفتين قبل أن تقام الصلاة.
And with the same chain of narration (from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar, may Allah be pleased with them), it is narrated that Umm al-Mu'mineen Sayyidah Hafsah, may Allah be pleased with her, informed him that when the muezzin would finish and become silent after giving the adhan for the morning prayer, the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, would perform two light rak'ahs before the iqamah of the prayer.
