Hands Should Be Placed on Chest in Prayer
Hadith 115
409- وبه: عن سهل أنه قال: كان الناس يؤمرون أن يضع الرجل يده اليمنى على ذراعه اليسرى فى الصلاة، قال أبو حازم: ولا أعلم إلا أنه ينمي ذلك.
And with the same chain of narration, it is narrated from Sayyiduna Sahl (bin Sa’d al-Sa’idi) رضي الله عنه that people were commanded that a man should place his right hand on his left forearm. Abu Hazim رحمه الله said: I know that he used to narrate it as marfu’.
