Discussion on Wudu (Ablution)
In wudu, water should be put in the nose and blown out
Hadith 61
75- مالك عن ابن شهاب عن أبى إدريس الخولاني عن أبى هريرة أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: ”من توضأ فليستنثر، ومن استجمر فليوتر .“
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever performs ablution should clean his nose by sniffing water and whoever uses stones for istinja should use an odd number, that is, three or five stones."
Hadith 62
320- وبه: أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: ”إذا توضأ أحدكم فليجعل فى أنفه ماء ثم ليستنثر، ومن استجمر فليوتر .“
And with the same chain of narration (it is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "When any one of you performs ablution, let him draw water into his nose, then expel it and clean it, and when he uses stones for istinja, let him use an odd number of stones."
