494- مالك عن يحيى بن سعيد عن عمرة بنت عبد الرحمن عن عائشة زوج النبى صلى الله عليه وسلم أنها قالت: إن كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم ليصلي الصبح، فينصرف النساء متلفعات بمروطهن ما يعرفن من الغلس.
It is narrated from the wife of the Prophet, Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to perform the morning prayer (at such darkness) that the women, wrapped in their sheets, would return and due to the darkness, they would not be recognized.

Jurisprudential Points:
➊ The morning (Fajr) prayer should be performed in darkness.
➋ It is obligatory for women to wear a cloak (chador).
➌ Every woman should observe veiling (purdah) from men.
➍ It is permissible for women to perform prayers in the mosques.
