How to call the adhan during rain (and prayer without adhan)
Hadith 75
198- وبه: أن ابن عمر أذن بالصلاة فى ليلة ذات برد وريح، فقال: ألا صلوا فى الرحال، ثم قال: إن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم كان يأمر المؤذن إذا كانت ليلة باردة ذات مطر، يقول: ”ألا صلوا فى الرحال .“
And with the same chain (it is narrated) from Nafi' the Tabi'i that on a cold and windy night, Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) gave the adhan and said: «ألا صلوا فى الرحال» Listen! Pray in your dwellings (homes). Then he said: When there was a rainy and cold night, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) would order the mu'adhdhin to say: «ألا صلوا فى الرحال» Listen! Pray in your dwellings.
