And with this same chain (it is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar, may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Among the trees, there is a tree whose leaves do not fall (throughout the year), and its example is like that of a Muslim man. Tell me, which tree is this?" So the people began to think about the trees of the forest, and it occurred to me that it is the date-palm tree, but due to shyness, I did not speak. Then the people said: "O Messenger of Allah! Tell us, which tree is it?" He, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "It is the date-palm tree." Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar, may Allah be pleased with them both, said: Then I told (my father) Umar bin Khattab, may Allah be pleased with him, what had occurred to me in my heart, so Umar, may Allah be pleased with him, said: "If you had said this (at that time), it would have been more beloved to me than such and such things." The narrations of Abdullah bin Dinar from Abdullah bin Umar, may Allah be pleased with them both, have been completed, and one narration has already passed in the chapter of Zayd (bin Aslam) [ ح ۱۶۵], and the other has already passed in the chapter of Nafi' [ ح ۲۰۲].
