Muwatta Imam Malik (Riwayat Ibn al-Qasim)

And with this same chain of narration, it is narrated that (Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik, may Allah be pleased with him, said): The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, when he would go to Quba, he would visit Umm Haram bint Milhan, may Allah be pleased with her. She would feed him food. Umm Haram bint Milhan was the wife of Sayyiduna Ubadah bin Samit, may Allah be pleased with him. So, on that day, the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, went to her, and she fed him food and began to search through his hair. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, fell asleep. Then, when he woke up from sleep, he was smiling. Umm Haram, may Allah be pleased with her, said: I asked the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him: O Messenger of Allah! Why are you smiling? The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: “Some people from my Ummah were shown to me (in my sleep) who were fighting in the way of Allah in the midst of the sea, as if they were kings sitting on thrones.” She said: I said: O Messenger of Allah! Pray to Allah that He includes me among them. So the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, prayed for her. Then he rested his head and slept. Then, when he woke up from sleep, he was smiling. Umm Haram, may Allah be pleased with her, said: I asked: O Messenger of Allah! Why are you smiling? The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: “Some people from my Ummah were shown to me (in my sleep) who were sitting on thrones like kings, fighting in the way of Allah,” just as he had said the first time. So Umm Haram, may Allah be pleased with her, said: I said: O Messenger of Allah! Pray to Allah that He includes me among them. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: “You will be among the first group.” (Sayyiduna Anas, may Allah be pleased with him, said): Then she participated in the naval expedition during the time of Sayyiduna Muawiyah bin Abi Sufyan, may Allah be pleased with him, and when she came out of the sea, she fell from her mount and passed away.
