Muwatta Imam Malik (Riwayat Ibn al-Qasim)

And with this same chain (it is narrated) from (Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "By Him in Whose hand is my soul! If any one of you were to take his rope, then gather firewood and carry it on his back (and bring it), that would be better for him than going to a man whom Allah has blessed with His bounty (wealth), and asking him, so that he either gives him or refuses him."
