Muwatta Imam Malik (Riwayat Ibn al-Qasim)

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), when the time for the Asr prayer came, the people searched for water for ablution but did not find any. Then a small amount of water for ablution was brought to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), so the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) placed his hand in that vessel and ordered the people to perform ablution with it. (Sayyiduna Anas, may Allah be pleased with him, said:) I saw that water was gushing out from beneath the fingers of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and then all the people, up to the last man (of the army), performed ablution with that water.
