Hadith 522

317- وبه: عن أبيه عن عبد الله بن عمرو بن عثمان عن ابن أبى عمرة الأنصاري عن زيد بن خالد الجهني أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: ”ألا أخبركم بخير الشهداء الذى يأتي بشهادته قبل أن يسألها أن يخبر بشهادته قبل أن يسألها .“

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Zayd bin Khalid al-Juhani (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Shall I not tell you who is the best of witnesses? The one who presents his testimony before he is asked, and gives his testimony before he is questioned."
