Hadith 476
107- وبه: أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: ”أغلقوا الباب، وأوكوا السقاء، وأكفئوا الإناء، وأطفئوا المصباح. فإن الشيطان لا يفتح غلقا، ولا يحل وكاء، ولا يكشف إناء، وإن الفويسقة تضرم على الناس بيتهم.“
And with this same chain (it is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir, may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Shut the door and tie the mouth of the waterskin, turn the vessel upside down or cover it, and extinguish the lamp, for surely Satan does not open closed doors, nor does he untie a knot, nor does he remove the cover from a covered vessel, and the mouse sets people's houses on fire."
