Virtue of “Subhan Allah wa bihamdihi”
Hadith 454

431- وبه أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: ”من قال: لا إله إلا الله وحده لا شريك له، له الملك وله الحمد وهو على كل شيء قدير فى يوم مئة مرة، كانت له عدل عشر رقاب وكتب الله له مئة حسنة ومحيت عنه مئة سيئة وكانت له حرزا من الشيطان يومه ذلك، حتى يمسي ولم يأت أحد بأفضل مما جاء به إلا أحد عمل أكثر من ذلك. ومن قال: سبحان الله وبحمده فى يوم مئة مرة، حطت خطاياه وإن كانت مثل زبد البحر.“
And with this same chain (it is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever says «لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ» one hundred times during the day, he will have the reward of freeing ten slaves, Allah will write for him one hundred good deeds and erase one hundred of his sins (by forgiving them). These (words) will become a means of protection for him from Satan until the evening of that day, and no one will have done a better deed than him except the one who does more than this. And whoever recites «سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ» one hundred times during the day, his sins will be wiped away (forgiven) even if they are as much as the foam of the sea."

Jurisprudential Explanation (Tafaqquh):
➊ «لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيْكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ» Saying it ten times and «سُبْحَانَ اللهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ» saying it one hundred times are among the most virtuous deeds.
◄ Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah radi Allahu anhu said: Whoever, at the end of every prayer, says Subhan Allah thirty-three times, Allahu Akbar thirty-three times, Alhamdulillah thirty-three times, and completes the count to one hundred with «لااله الاالله وحده لاشريك له، له الملك وله الحمد وهو على كلّ شيءِِ قدير», his sins will be forgiven even if they are as much as the foam of the sea. ➌ There is great virtue and importance in the remembrance (dhikr) among deeds.
