One should not hasten in supplication
Hadith 448
74- وبه: عن أبى عبيد عن أبى هريرة أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: ”يستجاب لأحدكم ما لم يعجل فيقول: قد دعوت فلم يستجب لي.“
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The supplication of every one of you is accepted as long as he does not become hasty, that is, he does not say: 'I have supplicated but it has not been accepted.'"
