It is narrated from the wife of the Prophet, Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), that she heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) before his passing, while she was attentive to him and he was resting against her chest, saying: "O Allah! Envelop me in (Your) mercy and have mercy on me, and join me with the Highest Companion (al-Rafiq al-A‘la)." The narrations of Hisham ibn ‘Urwah are thus completed, and these are thirty-four hadiths.

Takhrij al-Hadith: [
Jurisprudential Points: ➊ The Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) has passed away. ➋ The Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) was not a remover of difficulties (mushkil kasha). ➌ Taking care of and serving a patient during days of illness is a source of reward and merit. ➍ Always fearing Allah the Exalted and constantly seeking His mercy is a sign of piety (taqwa). ➎ All the Prophets and Messengers were pure and infallible from every kind of sin, yet the Prophets and Messengers continued to seek forgiveness from Allah, and this is a supreme proof of their humility and love for Allah the Exalted. For example, it is written in the sacred book of the Jews and Christians that Dawud (alayhis salam) said in his Psalm: "And forgive all my sins." In the English text of this same passage, it is written: "and forgive all my sins" (The Bible Psalms 25:18 Page 476) Although everyone knows that the noble Prophets were absolutely infallible and pure from every kind of sin, therefore such supplications are to be understood as humility, modesty, and for the education and training of the Ummah. In some narrations from our Noble Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam), the words «اللهم اغْفِرْلِيْذَنبِْيْكُلَّهُ» appear, and while translating them, Ahmad Yar Khan in the Barelvi school wrote: O Allah! Forgive all my sins. This is "Maktabah Islamiyyah" of the Barelvis, who published this book from Peer Bhai Printers Press. The other "Maktabah Islamiyyah" is of the Ahl al-Hadith, whose owner is the respected Sarwar Asim Sahib; this publishing house did not publish the aforementioned book. Understand this well. While translating the mentioned hadith, Ghulam Rasool Saeedi Barelvi wrote: "O Allah! Forgive all my sins." 2] ◄ According to our research, the meaning of the mentioned hadith is not that, rather it is: "O Allah! Place a barrier between me and sins."
