254- وبه: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: ”إن الحمى من فيح جهنم، فأطفؤها بالماء“، وكان ابن عمر يقول: اللهم أذهب عنا الرجز.

And with the same chain of narration (it is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar, may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Fever is from the breath of Hell, so cool it with water." And Ibn Umar, may Allah be pleased with them both, used to say: "O Allah! Remove the punishment from us."
