And with this same chain (it is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar, may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, delivered a sermon in one of the battles. The people informed me that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, forbade making nabidh (fermented drink) in pumpkin vessels and oil jars.
