Issues of Eid and Sacrifice
Sacrificial meat can be eaten for more than three days
Hadith 348
105- وبه: أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم نهى عن أكل لحوم الضحايا بعد ثلاث، ثم قال بعد: ”كلوا وتصدقوا وتزودوا وادخروا.“
And with the same chain of narration, it is narrated from (Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah al-Sulami, may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, forbade eating the meat of (sacrifice) after three days of sacrifice. Then after that he said: "Eat, give in charity, take provisions for the journey, and store it."
