Hadith 318
285- وبه: أنه قال: أمر رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم أهل المدينة أن يهلوا من ذي الحليفة، وأهل الشام من الجحفة، وأهل نجد من قرن. قال ابن عمر: أما هؤلاء الثلاث، فسمعتهن من رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال: وأخبرت أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: ”ويهل أهل اليمن من يلملم.“
And with this same chain (it is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar, may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, ordered the people of Madinah to assume ihram from Dhu’l-Hulayfah, the people of Sham from Juhfah, and the people of Najd from Qarn. Ibn Umar, may Allah be pleased with them both, said: I myself heard these three things from the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and I have been informed that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: “And the people of Yemen should assume ihram from Yalamlam.”
