And with this same chain of narration, it is reported from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both), who narrates from Sayyiduna Sa'b bin Jaththamah al-Laythi (may Allah be pleased with him) that he presented to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), near a place called Abwa or Waddan, the meat of a wild donkey, a lawful animal, which he had hunted. But the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) refused it. (Sa'b bin Jaththamah, may Allah be pleased with him) said: When the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) saw the expression on my face, he said: "We did not accept it because we are in the state of Ihram."
