Hadith 241
72- مالك عن ابن شهاب عن عبد الرحمن بن كعب بن مالك الأنصاري أنه أخبره أن أباه كعب بن مالك كان يحدث أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: ”إنما نسمة المؤمن طائر يعلق فى شجر الجنة حتى يرجعه الله إلى جسده يوم يبعثه.“
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ka'b bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The soul of the believer is in the form of a bird, hanging from the trees of Paradise, until Allah sends it back to its body on the Day of Resurrection."
