Hadith 175
84- مالك عن ابن شهاب عن رجل من آل خالد بن أسيد أنه سأل عبد الله ابن عمر فقال: يا أبا عبد الرحمن، إنا نجد صلاة الخوف وصلاة الحضر فى القرآن ولا نجد صلاة السفر، فقال عبد الله بن عمر: يا ابن أخي، إن الله تعالى بعث إلينا محمدا صلى الله عليه وسلم ولا نعلم شيئا، فإنما نفعل كما رأيناه يفعل. كمل حديث الزهري وهو خمسة وثمانون حديثا.
It is narrated from a man of the family of Khalid bin Asid (Umayyah bin Abdullah bin Khalid) that he asked Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar, may Allah be pleased with them both: O Abu Abdur Rahman! We find mention of the prayer of fear and the prayer of residence in the Qur'an, but we do not find mention of the prayer of travel? So Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar, may Allah be pleased with them both, replied: O nephew! Allah sent Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, to us and we knew nothing, so we act only as we saw him acting. The ahadith of Zuhri are now complete; these are eighty-five (85) ahadith.
