بَابُ اجْتِنَابِ التَّوَجُّهِ نَحْوَ الْقِبْلَةِ مِنَ الْبَيْتِ الْخَلْوِيِّ وَهُدَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِيهِ

Hadith 97
حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ مَعِينٍ ، ثنا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ الثَّقَفِيُّ ، عَنْ خَالِدٍ الْحَذَّاءِ ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ، قَالَ : مَا اسْتَقْبَلْتُ الْقِبْلَةَ بِفَرْجٍ مُنْذُ كَذَا وَكَذَا ، فَحَدَّثَ عِرَاكُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " أَمَرَ بِخَلائِهِ أَنْ يُسْتَقْبَلَ بِهِ الْقِبْلَةُ " ، وَإِنَّ النَّاسَ يَكْرَهُونَ ذَلِكَ .
It is narrated from Umar bin Abdul Aziz, may Allah have mercy on him, that he said: "For such a long time, I have not relieved myself facing the Qiblah." Iraq bin Malik narrated that it is reported from Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, ordered that the toilet be constructed facing the Qiblah for himself, and now people consider this act to be disliked.
