Hadith 73
حَدَّثَنِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ حَفْصِ بْنِ غِيَاثٍ ، ثنا أَبِي ، عَنِ الشَّيْبَانِيِّ ، عَنْ رباحِ بْنِ عُبَيْدَةَ ، عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ سَعْدِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، قَالَ : شَهِدْتُ أُسَامَةَ بْنَ زَيْدٍ عِنْدَ سَعْدِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، يَقُولُ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنَّ الطَّاعُونَ رِجْزٌ أُنْزِلَ عَلَى مَنْ كَانَ قَبْلَكُمْ ، أَوْ عَلَى بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ ، فَإِذَا وُجِدَ بِأَرْضٍ فَلا تَدْخُلُوهَا ، وَإِذَا وُجِدَ بِأَرْضٍ وَأَنْتُمْ بِهَا فَلا تَخْرُجُوا مِنْهَا " .
Usama bin Zaid, may Allah be pleased with him, narrates that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Plague is a punishment that was sent upon the people before you or upon the Children of Israel. When plague spreads in a land, do not go there, and when it spreads in a land where you are residing, do not leave from there."
