Hadith 44
حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، وَإِبْرَاهِيمُ ، قَالا : ثنا هُشَيْمٌ ، أنا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ وَجَدَ عَيْنَ مَالِهِ بِيَدِ رَجُلٍ قَدْ أَفْلَسَ ، فَهُوَ أَحَقُّ بِهِ مِمَّنْ سِوَاهُ مِنَ الْغُرَمَاءِ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever finds his exact property in the possession of an insolvent person, he has more right to it than the other creditors."
