Hadith 36
حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ حَمَّادٍ زُغْبَةُ ، ثنا اللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ هِشَامٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " أَيُّمَا امْرِئٍ أَفْلَسَ ثُمَّ وَجَدَ رَجُلٌ مَتَاعَهُ عِنْدَهُ بِعَيْنِهِ ، فَهُوَ أَوْلَى بِهِ مِنْ غَيْرِهِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that he narrated from the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, who said: "If a person becomes insolvent, and the creditor finds his goods with him in their original form, then he is more entitled to them than others."
