Hadith 14
حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ خَلَفٍ الْعَسْقَلانِيُّ أَبُو نَصْرٍ ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ ، وَحَدَّثَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ الرُّخَامِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ الْفِرْيَابِيُّ ، ثنا الأَوْزَاعِيُّ ، عَنْ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ زَبَّانِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " يُصَلِّي يَفْرُقُ بَيْنَ الشَّفْعِ وَالْوِتْرِ ، وَأَنَا فِي الْبَيْتِ أَسْمَعُ تَسْلِيمَهُ " .
Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) would perform (three witr), and to separate the two and one rak'ah, he would say salam, and I, being at home, would hear your salam.
