بَابُ إِرْشَادَاتِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي مَا يَتَعَلَّقُ بِالطَّاعُونِ وَالنَّهْيِ عَنْ الدُّخُولِ أَوِ الْخُرُوجِ فِي مَكَانِ الْوَبَاءِChapter: The Prophet's ﷺ guidance regarding the plague and the prohibition of entering or leaving a place of epidemic
Hadith 72

حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ زُنْبُورٍ الأَبْطَحِيُّ ، ثنا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ أَبِي حَازِمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ ، عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ سَعْدِ بْنِ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ ، عَنْ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ ، وَذُكِرَ الطَّاعُونُ عِنْدَهُ ، فَقَالَ : " رِجْزٌ أُوقِعَ ، أَوْ عُذِّبَ بِهِ أُمَّةٌ مِنَ الأُمَمِ ، وَبَقِيَ مِنْهُ بَقَايَا ، فَإِذَا سَمِعْتُمْ بِهِ بِأَرْضٍ فَلا تَدْخُلُوا عَلَيْهَا ، وَإِذَا وَقَعَ بِأَرْضٍ وَأَنْتُمْ بِهَا فَلا تَفِرُّوا مِنْهُ " ، قَالَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُنْكَدِرِ : فَحَدَّثْتُ بِهَذَا الْحَدِيثِ عُمَرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ، فَقَالَ : هَكَذَا حَدَّثَنِيهِ عَامِرُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ .
Sayyiduna Usama bin Zaid (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), he said: The plague was mentioned before the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), so he said: "The plague is a punishment which was sent down, or with it a nation from among the nations before you was punished, and it is some of its remnants. When you hear that the plague has broken out in a land, do not go there, and when it breaks out in the land where you are, do not flee from it." Muhammad bin Munkadir said: I narrated this hadith to Umar bin Abdul Aziz, so he said: 'Aamir bin Sa’d (may Allah have mercy on him) narrated this hadith to me in the same way.'
