حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ وَزِيرٍ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ ، ثنا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُهَاجِرٍ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ الزُّهْرِيَّ يَقُولُ لِعُمَرَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ، يَعْنِي فِي سَجْدَتَيِ السَّهْوِ : " هُمَا قَبْلَ السَّلامِ " ، قَالَ : فَأَبَى عُمَرُ ، وَقَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا ذَلِكَ يَا ابْنَ شِهَابٍ ، عن أَبي سَلَمَةَ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، يَعْنِي فِي سَجْدَتَيِ السَّهْوِ .
Muhammad bin Muhajir narrated, he heard from Zuhri (may Allah have mercy on him) that he was telling Umar bin Abdul Aziz (may Allah have mercy on him) regarding the prostrations of forgetfulness, that both these prostrations are before the salam. Umar bin Abdul Aziz (may Allah have mercy on him) denied this and said, O Ibn Shihab! This information regarding the two prostrations of forgetfulness was narrated to us by Abu Salamah bin Abdur Rahman.
