Hadith 966
أَخْبَرَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي خَالِدٍ، عَنْ زِيَادٍ، مَوْلَى بَنِي مَخْزُومٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: ((نَحْنُ الْآخِرُونَ السَّابِقُونَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ أَوَّلُ زُمْرَةٍ مِنْ أُمَّتِي يَدْخُلُونَ الْجَنَّةَ سَبْعُونَ أَلْفًا لَا حِسَابَ عَلَيْهِمْ، صُورَةُ كُلِّ رَجُلٍ مِنْهُمْ عَلَى صُورَةِ الْقَمَرِ لَيْلَةَ الْبَدْرِ، ثُمَّ الَّذِينَ يَلُونَهُمْ كَأَشَدِّ ضَوْءِ كَوْكَبٍ فِي السَّمَاءِ، ثُمَّ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ هُمْ مَنَازِلُ)) .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), he (peace be upon him) said: "We are the last to come in the world, but on the Day of Resurrection we will be the first. The first group of my Ummah to enter Paradise will be seventy thousand individuals who will have no reckoning. Each of their faces will shine like the full moon of the fourteenth night. Then those who come after them will shine like the brightest star in the sky, and then after that, they will be in ranks, one after another."
Hadith 967
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ، نا ابْنُ أَبِي خَالِدٍ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ مِثْلَهِ.
Ibn Abi Khalid narrated with this chain the same narration.
