Statement about the blowing of the trumpet
Hadith 953
أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى، نا مُوسَى بْنُ الْأَعْيَنِ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: ((كَيْفَ أَنْعَمُ وَصَاحِبُ الْقَرْنِ قَدِ الْتَقَمَ الْقَرْنَ، وَأَصْغَى سَمْعَهُ وَحَنَا جَبْهَتَهُ يَنْتَظِرُ مَتَى يُؤْمَرُ أَنْ يَنْفُخَ فَيَنْفُخَ)) ، قَالُوا: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ فَمَا تَأْمُرُنَا؟ قَالَ: ((قُولُوا حَسْبُنَا اللَّهُ وَنِعْمَ الْوَكِيلُ، عَلَى اللَّهِ تَوَكَّلْنَا)).
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "How can I be unafraid when the one with the horn (Israfil, peace be upon him) has placed his mouth upon it, has bent his face towards it with his ear attentive, awaiting when he will be commanded to blow, and then he will blow?" They asked: O Messenger of Allah! What do you command us? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Say: «حسبنا الله ونعم الوكيل، على الله توكلنا» Allah is sufficient for us and He is the best disposer of affairs, upon Allah alone we rely."
Hadith 954
قَالَ: وَقَالَ أَبُو الْأَحْوَصِ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: ((كَيْفَ أَنْعَمُ؟)) ، فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ.
It is narrated from Abu Salih that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "How can I be without fear..." Then the narrator mentioned the same example.
Hadith 955
أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ، عَنْ عَطِيَّةَ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِثْلَهُ.
Atiyyah narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id (may Allah be pleased with him) from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) a narration similar to the previous (hadith).
