Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: A bowl of tharid was placed before the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), so he took the meat of the foreleg. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was very fond of the meat of the foreleg of a goat. So he gnawed the meat off the bone of the foreleg with his teeth and said: "On the Day of Resurrection, I will be the leader of the children of Adam." When he saw that his companions were not asking him (about it), the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Why do you not ask, how?" They said: O Messenger of Allah! How? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "All the people will be standing before the Lord of the worlds, the one who sees will be able to see them, and the voice of the caller will be heard, the sun will come close to their heads, its heat and intensity will be very severe upon them, and its nearness will be hard for them to bear." He said: "So they will be in that state of distress and anxiety, and in that state they will come to Adam (peace be upon him) and say: O Adam! You are the father of mankind, Allah created you with His own hand, ordered the angels and they prostrated to you, intercede for us with your Lord, do you not see the state we are in?" So Adam (peace be upon him) will say: My Lord is so angry today as He has never been before nor will He ever be so angry again, He gave me a command and I disobeyed Him, and I listened to Satan, He forbade me from the tree, but I fell short in that, I fear that He may throw me into Hell, so go to someone other than me, I am concerned about myself. So they will go to Nuh (peace be upon him) and say: O Nuh! You are Allah's Prophet and the first Messenger of Allah to the people of the earth, intercede for us with your Lord, do you not see the distress we are in? Nuh (peace be upon him) will say: My Lord is as angry today as He has never been before nor will He ever be so angry again, I was given one supplication and I used it against my people, so they were destroyed, I fear that He may throw me into the Fire, go to someone other than me, I am concerned about myself." He said: "So they will go to Ibrahim (peace be upon him) and say: O Ibrahim! You are Allah's Khalil, the inhabitants of the heavens and the earth have heard of your friendship (with Allah), intercede for us with your Lord, do you not see the distress we are in? Ibrahim (peace be upon him) will say: My Lord is as angry today as He has never been before nor will He ever be so angry again, he will mention his statement about the stars: 'This is my Lord,' and his statement about their idols: 'This is the biggest of them,' and his statement: 'I am sick,' (he will remember these), I fear that He may throw me into Hell, so go to someone other than me, I am concerned about myself." He said: "So they will go until they come to Musa (peace be upon him) and say: O Musa! You are Allah's Prophet, Allah chose you for His message and spoke to you, intercede for us with your Lord, do you not see the distress we are in? Musa (peace be upon him) will say: My Lord is as angry today as He has never been before nor will He ever be so angry again, I killed a person unjustly, I fear that He may throw me into the Fire, go to someone other than me, I am concerned about myself." He said: "So they will go to Isa (peace be upon him) and say: O Isa! You are Allah's Prophet, His Word, and His Spirit which He cast into Maryam (peace be upon her), intercede for us with your Lord, do you not see the distress we are in? Isa (peace be upon him) will say: My Lord is as angry today as He has never been before nor will He ever be so angry again." 'Amarah (the narrator) said: I do not know if he mentioned any slip (mistake), I fear that He may throw me into Hell, go to someone other than me, I am concerned about myself. So they will come to me and say: Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him)! You are Allah's Messenger and the Seal of the Prophets, Allah has forgiven all your past and future slips, intercede for us with your Lord. He said: So I will go and prostrate under the Throne before my Lord, and the Lord of the worlds will place me in such a position where no one has ever stood before me, He will say: Muhammad, intercede, your intercession will be accepted, ask, your request will be granted. I will say: O Lord! Save my Ummah, save my Ummah, so Allah will say to me: Bring forth from your Ummah those who have no reckoning against them, and admit them through the rightmost gate, and they will share with the people in the other gates. By the One in whose hand is the soul of Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him)! The distance between one gate and another is as far as between Makkah and Hajar, or between Makkah and Busra." The narrator said: I do not know which of the two he said.

Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: Meat was presented to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) while some of his noble companions (may Allah be pleased with them) were also present with him. They presented the meat of the foreleg to him, and he (peace be upon him) liked the meat of this part of the goat very much. So he broke it with his teeth and ate it. Then they mentioned the hadith similar to that of ‘Ammarah, and in the narration regarding the mention of ‘Isa (peace be upon him), they did not mention any slip. And it was stated: "The distance between its two doorposts is as much as between Busra and Makkah, or between Makkah and Hajar."
