Hadith 887
Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrated: I asked, "O Messenger of Allah! How will this matter (caliphate) be after you?" He (peace be upon him) said: "As long as there is goodness in your people, this matter will remain among your people." I asked, "O Messenger of Allah! Which of the Arabs will perish the soonest?" He (peace be upon him) said: "Your people." I asked, "How is that?" He (peace be upon him) said: "Death will be deemed lawful for them and envy towards people."
