A time will come when there will be no one to lead prayer
Hadith 880
أَخْبَرَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَتْنِي أُمُّ غُرَابٍ جَدَّةُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ غُرَابٍ , عَنِ امْرَأَةٍ يُقَالُ لَهَا عَقِيلَةُ، عَنْ سَلَّامَةَ بِنْتِ الْحُرِّ أُخْتِ خَرَشَةَ بِنْتِ الْحُرِّ قَالَتْ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: ((يَأْتِي عَلَى النَّاسِ زَمَانٌ يَمْكُثُونَ سَاعَةً لَا يَجِدُونَ إِمَامًا يُصَلِّي بِهِمْ)).
Sayyidah Salamah bint al-Hurr (may Allah be pleased with her) narrated: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "A time will come upon the people when they will stand for a period, but they will not find any imam to lead them in prayer."
Hadith 881
أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ بْنُ هَمَّامِ بْنِ نَافِعٍ الصَّنْعَانِيُّ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبِي يُحَدِّثُ، عَنْ بَعْضِ الْعُلَمَاءِ قَالَ: ((أُقِيمَتِ الصَّلَاةُ فَتَدَافَعَ قَوْمٌ الْإِمَامَةَ، فَلَمْ يَزَلْ يَقُولُ هَذَا لِهَذَا تَقَدَّمْ، وَهَذَا لِهَذَا تَقَدَّمْ حَتَّى خُسِفَ بِهِمْ)).
Abdur Razzaq bin Hammam bin Nafi’ al-San’ani narrated: I heard my father narrating from some scholars, they said: The iqamah for prayer will be called, and people will push one another forward for leading the prayer. So this one will say to that one: Go ahead, and that one will say to this one: Go ahead, until they are swallowed up by the earth.
