Description of the appearance of five things
Hadith 864
أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى، أنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ، عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي فَرْوَةَ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَبِي عَتَّابٍ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، يَقُولُ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " خَمْسُ سُنَنٍ إِنَّهُنَّ أَوَّلُ مِنَ الْآيَاتِ وَأَيَّتُهُنَّ وَقَعَتْ قَبْلُ لَمْ يَنْفَعْ نَفْسًا إِيمَانُهَا لَمْ تَكُنْ آمَنَتْ مِنْ قَبْلُ: طُلُوعُ الشَّمْسِ مِنْ مَغْرِبِهَا وَالدَّجَّالُ، وَيَأْجُوجُ وَمَأْجُوجُ وَالدُّخَانُ، وَالدَّابَّةُ.
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), he said: "Five things will appear, which of these signs will occur first, at that time the faith of any soul will not benefit it if it had not believed before: (these signs are) the rising of the sun from the west, the Dajjal, Gog and Magog, the smoke, and the appearance of the beast."
