People will wish for death due to evil and corruption
Hadith 862
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُضَيْلِ بْنِ غَزْوَانَ، نا أَبُو إِسْمَاعِيلَ وَهُوَ بَشِيرُ بْنُ سَلْمَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ لَنْ تَذْهَبَ الدُّنْيَا حَتَّى يَتَمَرَّغَ الرَّجُلُ عَلَى الْقَبْرِ فَيَقُولَ: يَا لَيْتَنِي كُنْتُ صَاحِبَ هَذَا الْقَبْرِ لَيْسَ بِهِ الدَّيْنُ إِلَّا الْبَلَاءُ ".
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), he (peace be upon him) said: "By Him in Whose hand is my soul! The world will not end until a man passes by a grave and says: 'Would that this were my grave!' He will not say this because of religion, but only because of (worldly) hardships."
