Signs of the nearness of the Hour
Hadith 854
أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى، نا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ الْمَدَنِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " إِنَّ اللَّهَ أَجَارَكُمْ مِنْ ثَلَاثٍ: أَنْ تَسْتَجْمِعُوا كُلُّكُمْ عَلَى الضَّلَالَةِ، وَأَنْ يَظْهَرَ أَهْلُ الْبَاطِلِ عَلَى أَهْلِ الْحَقِّ، وَأَنْ أَدْعُوَ دَعْوَةً عَلَيْكُمْ فَيُهْلِكَكُمْ، وَأَبْدَلَكُمْ بِهِنَّ الدُّخَانَ، وَالدَّجَّالَ، وَدَابَّةَ الْأَرْضِ ".
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), he said: "Allah has protected you from three things: that you will not all gather upon misguidance, that the people of falsehood will not prevail over the people of truth, and that I have prayed for you that He does not destroy you, and in exchange for them He has given you three things: smoke, the Dajjal, and the Beast of the Earth (the creature that will emerge from the earth)."
Hadith 855
أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى، نا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: ((لَا تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ حَتَّى يُرَى النَّعْلُ مُلْقَاةً، فَيَقُولُ الرَّجُلُ كَأَنَّهَا نَعْلُ قُرَشِيٍّ)) .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), he (peace be upon him) said: "The Hour will not be established until you see a thrown shoe, and a man will say: It is as if it is a Qurayshi shoe."
Hadith 856
أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى، نا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " لَا تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ حَتَّى يَتْبَعَ الرَّجُلَ قَرِيبٌ مِنْ ثَلَاثِينَ امْرَأَةً، كُلُّهُنَّ يَقُولُ: أَنْكِحْنِي أَنْكِحْنِي أَنْكِحْنِي ".
Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), he said: "The Hour will not be established until about thirty women pursue one man, all of them saying: Marry me, marry me, marry me."
Hadith 857
وَبِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: ((بَيْنَ يَدَيِ السَّاعَةِ فِتَنًا كَقِطَعِ اللَّيْلِ الْمُظْلِمِ يُصْبِحُ الرَّجُلُ فِيهَا مُؤْمِنًا وَيُمْسِي كَافِرًا وَيُمْسِي مُؤْمِنًا وَيُصْبِحُ كَافِرًا، يَبِيعُ فِيهَا أَقْوَامٌ دِينَهُمْ بِعَرَضٍ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا قَلِيلٍ)).
With this same chain, it is narrated from the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, that he said: "Before the Day of Resurrection, there will be tribulations like pieces of a dark night. In those tribulations, a man will be a believer in the morning and a disbeliever in the evening, and if he is a believer in the evening, he will be a disbeliever in the morning. In them, people will sell their religion for a small portion of worldly goods and possessions."
Hadith 858
وَبِهَذَا، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: ((إِنَّمَا هُمَا النَّجْدَانِ نَجْدُ الْخَيْرِ وَنَجْدُ الشَّرِّ، فَلَا يَكُنْ نَجْدُ الشَّرِّ أَحَبَّ إِلَى أَحَدِكُمْ مِنْ نَجْدِ الْخَيْرِ)).
With this same chain, it is narrated from the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, that he said: "There are only two elevations: the elevation of good and the elevation of evil. So let not the elevation of evil be more beloved to any of you than the elevation of good."
Hadith 859
وَبِهَذَا، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " إِنَّ اللَّهَ أَجَارَكُمْ مِنْ ثَلَاثٍ: لَنْ تُجْمِعُوا كُلُّكُمْ عَلَى الضَّلَالَةِ، وَأَنْ يَظْهَرَ فِيكُمُ الْبَاطِلُ، وَأنْ تَدْعُوا بِدَعْوَةٍ فَتُهْلَكُوا جَمِيعًا وَلَا بُدَّ لَكُمْ مِنَ الدَّجَّالِ وَالدُّخَانِ وَالدَّابَّةِ ".
With this chain of narration, the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Allah has granted you protection from three things: that all of you will not unite upon misguidance, falsehood will not prevail over you, and you will not make such a supplication that all of you are destroyed. However, for you, the Dajjal, the smoke, and the beast of the earth are inevitable."
