Virtue of reciting La hawla wa la quwwata illa billah
Hadith 821
أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، نا بِشْرُ بْنُ رَافِعٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَجْلَانَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " مَنْ قَالَ: لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ كَانَتْ لَهُ دَوَاءً مِنْ تِسْعَةٍ وَتِسْعِينَ دَاءً أَيْسَرُهَا الْهَمُّ ".
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever recites «لا حول ولا قوة إلا بالله», it is a cure for ninety-nine diseases for him, the least of which is grief."
