Hadith 806
أَخْبَرَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنِ الْمُجَالِدِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَمَّنْ حَدَّثَهُ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، فَقَالَتْ: أَصَابَ وَجْهَ أُسَامَةَ شَيْءٌ فَدَمِيَ فَغَسَلْتُ وَجْهَهُ، فَمَسَحَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِقَمِيصِهِ وَقَالَ: أَحْسِنْ بِنَا إِذَا لَمْ يَكُنْ جَارِيَةٌ. قَالَ: وَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا نَظَرَ إِلَى وَجْهِ أُسَامَةَ بَعْدَ مَوْتِ أَبِيهِ بَكَى.
Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said: Something struck Usama’s (may Allah be pleased with him) face and blood started to flow, so I washed his face and the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) wiped it with his shirt, and said: “Treat us well, while she is not a girl.” The narrator stated: Whenever the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) looked at the face of Usama (may Allah be pleased with him) after the death of his father (Zayd, may Allah be pleased with him), he would weep.
