Avoiding bad traits explained
Hadith 776
أَخْبَرَنَا الْمُقْرِئُ، نا مُوسَى بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ رَبَاحٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ مَرْوَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: ((شَرُّ مَا فِي الرَّجُلِ شُحٌّ هَالِعٌ وَجُبْنٌ خَالِعٌ)) .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), he (peace be upon him) said: "Among the worst qualities a person can have are greed, miserliness, and being cowardly fearful."
Hadith 777
أَخْبَرَنَا الْمُلَائِيُّ، بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ مِثْلَهُ.
The narrator reported: Al-Mala'i narrated to us with this chain in the same manner.
