One who harms his neighbor is destined for Hell
Hadith 772
أَخْبَرَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي يَحْيَى، مَوْلَى جَعْدَةَ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، يَقُولُ قِيلَ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: إِنَّ فُلَانَةَ تُصَلِّي مِنَ اللَّيْلِ وَتَصُومُ النَّهَارَ وَتُؤْذِي جِيرَانَهَا سَلِيطَةً، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: ((هِيَ فِي النَّارِ)) ، وَقِيلَ لَهُ: إِنَّ فُلَانَةَ تُصَلِّي الْمَكْتُوبَةَ وَتَصُومُ رَمَضَانَ وَتَصَدَّقُ بِالْأَثْوَارِ مِنَ الَأَقِطِ، لَيْسَ لَهَا شَيْءٌ غَيْرُهِ وَلَا تُؤْذِي أَحَدًا، فَقَالَ: ((هِيَ فِي الْجَنَّةِ)) .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: It was said to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him): Such-and-such woman prays Tahajjud at night and fasts during the day, but she harms her neighbor. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "She is in Hell." It was said to him: Such-and-such woman performs the obligatory prayers, fasts in Ramadan, gives a few pieces of cheese in charity and has nothing else, and she does not harm anyone. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "She is in Paradise."
Hadith 773
قُلتُ لِأَبِي أُسَامَةَ أَحَدَّثَكُمُ الْأَعْمَشُ، نا أَبُو يَحْيَى مَوْلَى جَعْدَةَ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَقُولُ: قِيلَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ فُلَانَةُ تُصَلِّي بِاللَّيْلِ فَقَرَأْتُ عَلَيْهِ كَمَا حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ فَأَقَرَّ بِهِ أَبُو أُسَامَةَ وَقَالَ: نَعَمْ.
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: It was said: O Messenger of Allah! Such-and-such woman offers Tahajjud prayer, the narrator stated: Then I narrated it to them just as Jarir narrated it to us, so Abu Usamah affirmed it and said: Yes.
