Description of neighbors' rights
Hadith 760
أَخْبَرَنَا النَّضْرُ بْنُ شُمَيْلٍ، نا شُعْبَةُ، نا دَاوُدُ بْنُ فَرَاهِيجَ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، يَقُولُ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: ((مَا زَالَ جِبْرِيلُ يُوصِينِي بِالْجَارِ حَتَّى ظَنَنْتُ أَوْ حَسِبْتُ أَنَّهُ سَيُوَرِّثُهُ)).
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Jibreel (peace be upon him) continued to advise me regarding the neighbor until I thought he would make him an heir.”
