Everything is created from water
Hadith 759
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَامِرٍ الْعَقَدِيُّ، نا هَمَّامُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ هِلَالِ بْنِ أَبِي مَيْمُونَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنِّي إِذَا رَأَيْتُكَ طَابَتْ نَفْسِي وَقَرَّتْ عَيْنِي فَأَنْبِئْنِي عَنْ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ، فَقَالَ: ((كُلُّ شَيْءٍ خُلِقَ مِنَ الْمَاءِ)) ، فَقُلْتُ لَهُ: أَخْبِرْنِي بِشَيْءٍ إِذَا عَمِلْتُ بِهِ دَخَلْتُ الْجَنَّةَ، فَقَالَ: ((أَفْشِ السَّلَامَ وَأَطْعِمِ الطَّعَامَ، وَصِلِ الْأَرْحَامَ وَقُمْ بِاللَّيْلِ وَالنَّاسُ نِيَامٌ وَادْخُلِ الْجَنَّةَ بِسَلَامٍ)) .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that I said: O Messenger of Allah! When I visit you, my heart becomes happy and my eyes are cooled. Please tell me about everything. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Everything has been created from water." I said: Tell me about an act which, if I perform it, I will enter Paradise. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Spread peace (greetings), feed (others), maintain ties of kinship, and stand in prayer at night (tahajjud) while people are sleeping, and you will enter Paradise in peace."
