Limit of sleeve length for shirts
Hadith 706
أَخْبَرَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ - صَاحِبُ الدَّسْتُوَائِيِّ - , حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ بُدَيْلِ بْنِ مَيْسَرَةَ الْعُقَيْلِيِّ، عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ، عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ يَزِيدَ قَالَتْ: ((كَانَتْ يَدُ كُمِّ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَى الرُّصْغِ)).
Sayyida Asma bint Yazid (may Allah be pleased with her) said: The sleeves of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) were up to the wrist.
Hadith 707
قَالَ: وَقَالَ أَبِي: عَنٍ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ سَلْمَانَ مِثْلَهُ.
Abu Salih narrated from Salman the same (hadith).
Hadith 708
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَوَاءٍ أَبُو الْخَطَّابِ، نا مُوسَى بْنُ ثَرْوَانَ الْمُعَلِّمُ، عَنْ بُدَيْلِ بْنِ مَيْسَرَةَ الْعُقَيْلِيِّ قَالَ: ((كَانَ كُمُّ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَى الرُّصْغِ)).
Badeel bin Maisarah Al-Uqaili narrated: The sleeves of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) were up to the wrists.
