Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “(Among the Children of Israel) there was a man who, wearing a suit and combing his hair in locks, was walking arrogantly when he was made to sink into the earth, and he will continue to sink in it until the Day of Resurrection.”

Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A man was walking." Then he mentioned as in the previous hadith.

Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), he said: "Among the people before you (the Children of Israel), there was a young man who, wearing a pair of garments, was walking arrogantly in pride, when the earth swallowed him up, and he will continue to sink in it until the Day of Resurrection."
