Hadith 663
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), he said: "Whoever takes up residence in the wilderness will become harsh in temperament, whoever pursues hunting will become heedless, whoever frequents the doors of kings will fall into trials, and the closer a person gets to a king, the farther he becomes from Allah."
Hadith 664
It is narrated from Ya'la bin Ubaid with the same chain, in it is that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Whoever makes it a habit to frequent the doors of kings."
