Women adorning themselves for others besides their family
Hadith 618
اَخْبَرَنَا عُبَیْدُاللّٰهِ بْنُ مُوْسٰی، نَا مُوْسٰی بْنُ عُبَیْدَةَ الرَّبَذِیُّ، عَنْ اَیُّوْبَ بْنِ خَالِدٍ، عَنْ مَیْمُوْنَةَ، عَنْ رَّسُوْلِ اللّٰهِ صَلَّی اللّٰهُ عَلَیْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: مَثَلُ الرَّوَافِلَةِ فِی الزِّیْنَةِ فِیْ غَیْرِ اَهْلِهَا، کَالظُّلْمَةِ یَوْمَ الْقِیَامَةِ، لَا نُوْرَ لَهَا.
Lady Maymunah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrated from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), he said: "The example of a woman who adorns herself for others besides her family is like darkness on the Day of Resurrection; there will be no light for her."
