Virtue of Surah al-Baqarah
Hadith 576
وَبِهَذَا، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: ((كُلُّ مُسْلِمٍ عَلَى مُسْلِمٍ مُحَرَّمٌ، وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ إِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ لَيَخْرُجُ مِنَ الْبَيْتِ يَسْمَعُ سُورَةَ الْبَقَرَةِ، تُقْرَأُ فِيهِ)) ، وَقَالَ: ((التَّأَنِّي مِنَ اللَّهِ وَالْعَجَلَةُ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ)).
With this same chain, it is narrated from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him): He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Every Muslim is forbidden to another Muslim. By the One in Whose hand is my soul! Satan leaves the house in which he hears the recitation of Surah Al-Baqarah." And he said: "Patience is from Allah, and haste is from Satan."
