Prophecy of the Prophet regarding Khosrow and Caesar
Hadith 540
أَخْبَرَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ، نا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي خَالِدٍ، عَنْ زِيَادٍ، مَوْلَى بَنِي مَخْزُومٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: ((هَلَكَ كِسْرَى فَلَا كِسْرَى بَعْدَهُ، وَهَلَكَ قَيْصَرُ فَلَا قَيْصَرَ بَعْدَهُ، وَالَّذِي نَفْسُ مُحَمَّدٍ بِيَدِهِ لَيُنْفَقَنَّ كُنُوزُهُمَا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ)).
Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), he (peace be upon him) said: "Kisra will be destroyed, and there will be no Kisra after him, and Caesar will be destroyed, and there will be no Caesar after him. By the One in Whose hand is the life of Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him)! You will spend both of their treasures in the way of Allah."
Hadith 541
أَخْبَرَنَا وَكِيعٌ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ مِثْلَهِ.
Waki’ (may Allah have mercy on him) narrated with this chain a narration similar to the previous hadith.
